Working method

WerkwijzeIn an initial interview with the potential client, we acquaint ourselves with the specific issue at hand, explore the preconditions regarding the vacancy, the ideal candidate and the process, and provide advice based on our expertise. We subsequently prepare a tailor-made proposal for finding the right candidate, accompanied by a description of our fee structure.

After the assignment has been granted to us, we prepare – in consultation with our client – a comprehensive profile, which we use to inform and generate interest among candidates. If necessary, we complement this with additional interviews.

We initially consult our own extensive network to conduct a specific search. We also look for suitable candidates in our internal database and, if deemed necessary, in various external databases and search engines.
Other search methods that can be applied in consultation with our client are:

  • Targeted approach of a specific candidate
  • Publishing the vacancy on certain professional, specialized and highly regarded websites and/or in specific print media.

Depending on the search assignment, we advise our client on the recruitment resources that might yield the greatest success.

After an evaluation of the CVs, we conduct a comprehensive interview of at least one and a half hours with each of the potential candidates. Based on the results, we determine whether a candidate possesses the required qualities, both on a professional and personal level. In certain cases we may make use of a personality test, this, of course, in consultation with the candidate. Once we find an excellent candidate for the position in question, we provide our client with the relevant CV as well as extensive, written observations with regard to background and presentation.

During the selection of candidates at our client, we maintain close contact with the candidates and the client in order to elucidate any potential uncertainties and to clearly define expectations.

At the point in time when our client decides to make an offer to the candidate, we could execute a reference check, if desired. This generally occurs late in the process as it is frequently unknown to the current employer that the candidate is applying for a position elsewhere.

We can also provide our client with advice on the offer to be made and support both parties in the negotiations.
